We had a great day on Sunday, filled with delicatessens, Moot Beit Din cases, and famous Israeli pioneers.
Next Sunday is our last day of the fall semester; we’ll be back after the break on January 8, 2017. That means it’s time to make your selections for second semester electives. Please go to our website and check out the course description page. The only courses offered are those on the attached selection form. Please have your child(ren) fill out the form and either scan and email it back to me or simply send an email with their choices listed. As always, preference is given to those who get their forms in sooner rather than later. Also, they must rank at least 4 choices!
December is a great time to remind everyone about inclement weather closing notifications. I will always wait until Sunday morning to decide whether we will close due to dangerous road conditions. Even though LBSY, The Temple Religious School, and HSJS work together on many programs throughout the year, we make our closing decisions separately since we start at different times. If we close, I will use WDRB-TV, send a group email, post it on our Facebook page, and send a Remind notification. So if you haven’t already “liked” our Facebook page, I suggest you go ahead and do that and also text @hsjs502 to 81010 or 270-253-1525 or send an email to hsjs502@mail.remind.com to be added to our Remind messaging system.
