We had an awesome day of Jewish learning on Sunday, ranging from Klezmer music to the roots of religious extremism to digging into the Moot Beit Din case that will be argued next March to Jewish exorcisms and dybbuks (I didn’t even know that Jewish exorcism was a thing—which just goes to prove the old adage that you’re never too old to learn something new!).
We’ll be off next Sunday, November 27 for Thanksgiving and then back for two more sessions of this fall semester on December 4 and 11. I’ll be sending out elective selection forms for next semester in the next couple weeks.
Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving surrounded by those you love and plenty of delicious food!
