Today was/is a great day for our students—our annual trip to DC is currently underway where the students and their stellar chaperones have already visited the Lincoln Memorial, the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, and they should be wrapping up a stealth visit to the Spy Museum right about now. There will be more monuments and memorials before they head to the airport for their return flight home. This amazing experience is made possible by a generous grant from JHFE and we are grateful for their support.
Here in Louisville, we shared an enlightening exercise I call the Jewish Identity Walk (ask your kids about it) and then watched the timely film, Driving Miss Daisy.
