Our hallways and classrooms were buzzing with activity yesterday!! In addition to our terrific classes, some of our students got to perform some mitzvot by helping out with the Chanukah Helpers program sponsored by JFCS. We were also treated to a fascinating talk during lunch by American Jewish History expert, Murray Toborowsky.
We’re off this coming Sunday, but we’ll be back in session on December 6th—we’ll start our course selection process for the second semester and learn about a great program from Educational Justice Advocates that could lead to volunteer/community service/Beta Club hours and college resume building prowess!
I hope you all enjoy a restful, delicious Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones.
