It was great to see everyone again after our BBYO/SNOW day last week. Our Moot Beit Din team is working diligently towards the submission deadline for their written argument, there was a discussion about favorite Jewish foods to which I was glad to share my opinion (too many to narrow it down to just one), and our Torah yogis enjoyed a meaningful practice so they’ll be set to tackle the week ahead. There’s always lots of engaging Jewish learning going on at HSJS!
In 2 weeks, on Sunday February 4, we’ll be participating in an all school tikkun olam project at Temple Shalom. Drop off and pick up will be at the same time but be at Temple Shalom at 4615 Lowe Road, 40220. We need to provide a rough number of participants for planning purposes, so please let me know this week if you know your child has a conflict that day.
