Today we shared a terrific last day of classes and celebrated the end of the school year and some important milestones for HSJS:
>Our Moot Beit Din team took second place in their division in the national competition!
>Our end of the semester course evaluation results continue to impress—on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, our Fall Semester classes averaged a 4.6 rating overall and our Spring Semester classes averaged a 4.4 overall rating. I look at each and every (anonymous) evaluation so that we can continue to hone and tweak our courses and consider new ideas for our curriculum. It’s great to hear that our students both value and appreciate the classes we offer and would recommend them to their fellow students!
>We are grateful for the dedicated teaching of Allison Feit over the last 4 years—she will be missed and we wish her Mazal tov in Buffalo!
>We graduated our first class of seniors in the history of the Louisville High School of Jewish Studies: Talia Clayton-Shaw, Saralee Renick, and Isaac Rosenbaum—Mazal tov to each of them and their families—we’re kvelling with you!
Thank you for the privilege of learning from and teaching your children. Keep an eye on your inboxes for information about registration for next year, and in the meantime, have a great end of the school year!
